What would you be doing?

Technical and people leadership of a cross-functional team (Backend, Frontend, QA Automation) delivering scalable, cloud-native services

• End-to-end ownership of feature delivery: from design and architecture to deployment and production monitoring
• Defining and enforcing engineering best practices, code quality standards, and development workflows
• Collaborating with Product, Architecture, and DevOps teams to drive roadmap execution
• Leading Agile ceremonies, ensuring delivery predictability, and fostering continuous improvement
  
  

Requirements:

• BSc in Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience as an R&D Team Leader, managing at least 5 engineers
• 10+ years of backend development experience in Java (Spring Boot, Maven/Gradle)
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with microservices architecture, including service decomposition, API gateway patterns, and inter-service communication
• Deep expertise in building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Hands-on experience with RDBMS (preferably PostgreSQL), including schema design, query optimization, and transaction management
• Proven experience with containerized applications using Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes
• Strong CI/CD knowledge: Jenkins, CircleCI, ArgoCD – including pipeline design, test automation integration, and deployment strategies
• Experience in deploying and operating services in public cloud environments (AWS preferred – EKS, S3, IAM, etc.)
• Strong Git skills and experience working with GitHub / GitLab / Azure DevOps / Bitbucket
• Proficiency in system design, performance analysis, and distributed system concepts
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of articulating complex technical topics in English (spoken and written)

• Familiarity with frontend technologies (React, TypeScript, Webpack, MobX or Redux)
• Exposure to application security, secure coding practices, and static analysis (SAST)
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry
