The Alexa Endpoints Media Team delivers a multi-device media experience across all Alexa-enabled endpoints. We build the player that handles music, podcast, and audiobook playback for Alexa devices — whether its a single device in the living room, a dozen devices spread throughout the house playing in sync, or a dynamic Home Theater of Echo Studios. About The Team

Within the Alexa Endpoints Media Team, the Device Group Management team is specifically responsible for building software that delivers low-latency, low-cost, highly reliable, and highly scalable cloud services. These services interact with our Alexa devices to power seamless multi-device experiences for customers across their homes.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
