What would you be doing?

Design and develop scalable, distributed microservices using Java

• Own feature delivery end-to-end: from technical design to production deployment
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and frontend/QA engineers to deliver high-quality solutions
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code while participating in code reviews and design discussions
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and incident response processes
• Continuously improve performance, reliability, and observability of services
  
  

Requirements:

BSc in Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in backend development
• Expertise in Java (Spring Boot) and deep understanding of the JVM ecosystem
• Experience building and maintaining microservices architectures in production environments
• Proficient in designing and integrating RESTful APIs
• Solid knowledge of relational databases, including advanced PostgreSQL usage (joins, indexes, transactions, optimizations)
• Hands-on experience with containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, and ArgoCD
• Proven experience working in cloud-based infrastructure (AWS preferred)
• Strong Git skills and experience working with GitHub / GitLab / Azure DevOps / Bitbucket
• Strong problem-solving skills and system-level thinking
• Proven ability to write technical design documents and lead feature-level architectural

Exposure to Go (used for system/integration testing or supporting tools)

• Experience with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry)
• Knowledge in secure coding practices, OWASP Top 10, and AppSec fundamentals
