Job Purpose:

Support to implement Business Intelligence, Data Analysis & Analytics plans to identify business intelligence, reporting, and data analysis needs and provide data that is accurate, congruent, reliable and in line with overall business objectives, needs, Group guidelines and policies.

Senior Data Analyst or Senior Data Scientist or Senior Data Engineer or Senior Business Analyst

Key Tasks:

• Analyze business intelligence data from different sources to inform business and product decisions
• Research operational issues and ensures application of Business Intelligence (BI) Data Analysis & Analytics applications to enhances business decision making capabilities.
• Manage internal and external data sets and conduct respective (management) reporting
• Track escalated issues arising from operations and coordinate with other stakeholders to improve operational capabilities
• Assist in implementing policies and procedures regarding collating and analyzing data, develop new data analysis processes and assess analytics on an ongoing basis
• Assist monitor day to day trends to identify patterns in recorded data and support developing a predictive, real-time model-based insights for decision-making
• Communicate information effectively to senior management, conveying technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Implement best practices for BI, data warehousing, and data governance and provide inputs that affect the functional area of responsibility
• Provides input to standards, policies and procedures for form, structure, and attributes of the BI tools and systems.

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in Large Language Models.
• Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI/Fabric.
• Practical experience with various machine learning algorithms, including linear regression, logistic regression, decision trees, and clustering techniques.
• Proficient in data munging techniques, including data cleaning, transformation, and normalization to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Proficient in Python Programming, Power BI/Fabric, Power Automate, RPA & its implementation
• Identify the right modeling approach(es) for given scenario and articulate why the approach fits.
• Assess data availability and modeling feasibility.
• Lead the integration of large language models into AI applications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Engineering Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in the Data Scientist / Data Engineer role
• Strong data and business analytical skills.
