Project Role : Quality Engineer (Tester)

Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary: - Lead the QA strategy, planning, execution, and governance for data migration to AWS. - Work across the full SDLC, ensuring QA alignment with Agile/Scrum ceremonies and deliverables. - Develop, maintain, and enhance test automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend validation. - Write reliable automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or equivalent tools. - Perform SQL-based data validation, backend testing, and verification of source-to-target data migration. - Test cloud-native applications and data workflows built on AWS services (S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Step Functions, etc.). - Conduct functional, regression, integration, performance, and load testing as required. - Manage defect tracking using Jira (or similar), ensuring timely triage, prioritization, and closure. - Use test management tools for test execution, reporting, and maintaining traceability. - Mentor junior QA team members and drive adoption of QA best practices - Collaboration with Architects, Development & Other teams to delivery high-quality data products As a Quality Engineer, you will enable full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Your typical day will involve performing continuous testing for security, API, and regression suites, creating automation strategies, and supporting data and environment configurations. You will also participate in code reviews, monitor and report defects, and engage in continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process, ensuring that quality is maintained throughout the development lifecycle. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies to ensure high-quality deliverables. - Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities and foster a culture of continuous learning. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Selenium. - Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and methodologies. - Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools. - Familiarity with performance testing tools and techniques. - Ability to write clear and concise test cases and documentation. - Functional test lead exp(created test strategy/test plan in past or at least is aware about these docs )+Data migration project to AWS exp + basic automation Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in Selenium. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
