Role Description & Responsibilities:

• Functional testing of Web based & standalone applications
• Application Support - Level 2
• Communicate with local and remote team members, appropriate stakeholders and customers as needed
• Work on large scale software systems
  
  

Qualifications:

• 2-3 Years of functional testing experience
• Tester’s mindset!
• A Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or other engineering fields
• Knowledge of testing web-based applications is desired
• Knowledge of API testing is an added advantage
• Knowledge of testing, SDLC, Bug reporting, Bug lifecycle etc. would be desired
• Good communication skills
• Testing certifications if any would be an advantage (ISTQB, QAI etc.)
• Ability to investigate and find root cause of problem
• Strong analytical and mathematical aptitude
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Good academic record
• Customer Support experience/exposure is expected
• Knowledge & experience of Automation testing is an added advantage
• Exposure to DevOps would be an added advantage
• Good knowledge of application support process is an advantage
• Candidate need to thrive in a fast-paced environment, appreciate aggressive goals and have a desire-to-win attitude.
• Candidate need the ability to solve tough problems that require innovative solutions
