General Ledger Senior Analyst I

Job Characteristics:Responsible for the more complex activities associated with maintaining ledger accounts and for developing financial statements and reports. This is the most senior skill level, without supervisory responsibility. Job may provide functional advice or training to less experienced accountant jobs.

Education/Work Experience:Degree in accounting or finance and five to seven years of significant work experience.

Independence Level/Reports to:General direction. Very difficult to check work. Errors can cause substantial delay, direct expense and affect accuracy and timeliness of reports. Normally reports to the General Accounting Supervisor or supervisor of a comparable function.
