We are looking for a technically-driven Team Lead with strong product intuition to join Amdocs amAIz — a pioneering telco generative AI framework — someone who can architect solutions, lead with purpose, and ship with quality.

All you need is...

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• 2+ years in a technical lead or team lead capacity
• Strong system design skills — you can whiteboard distributed systems, evaluate trade-offs, and make pragmatic architecture calls.
• Proficiency in Python — comfortable with production-grade code, scripting, and modern libraries.
• Hands-on GenAI/LLM experience — youve built or shipped products using large language models and understand their capabilities and limitations.
• Cloud fluency — solid experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• CI/CD expertise — youve built and maintained pipelines; you care about deployment velocity and reliability.
• Product mindset — you think beyond tickets; you ask why before how.
  
  

What will your job look like?

• Own the technical vision — lead system design discussions, make architectural decisions, and ensure the team builds scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Drive delivery with agility — facilitate sprint ceremonies, remove blockers, and keep the team focused without being a checkbox scrum master.
• Bridge product and engineering — translate business needs into technical requirements; challenge product direction when needed; propose whats possible with GenAI.
• Lead by doing — stay hands-on with code reviews, architectural spikes, and debugging complex issues alongside your team.
• Grow your people — mentor engineers technically and professionally; create an environment where people level up.
• Manage risk proactively — surface technical debt, identify risks early, and communicate trade-offs clearly to stakeholders.
