We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of an Associate Director, Product Development Specialist

In This Role, You Will Be Responsible For

  • Product Vision and Roadmap Coordination:
    • Develop a unified high-level product vision and roadmap for the mobile platform, incorporating all relevant areas.
    • Align individual product area goals with the overall roadmap, ensuring they support mobile platform objectives and business outcomes.
  • Collaboration and Alignment:
    • Work closely with Tech Leads to translate the high-level vision into actionable work items.
    • Facilitate roadmap synchronization with product, engineering, and architecture teams to ensure cohesive execution.
  • Accountability and Governance:
    • Hold Tech Leads accountable for adhering to agreed Ways of Working.
    • Define investment cases and benefits for all work, ensuring alignment with stakeholder agreements and compliance with audit rules.
  • Backlog and Planning Management:
    • Ensure comprehensive backlog refinement, including architecture review, estimation, risk identification, dependencies, and sequencing.
    • Support work prioritization for Program Increment (PI) planning, ensuring backlog items are groomed and ready.
  • Demand and Risk Management:
    • Coordinate demand intake and distribute work across roadmaps and backlogs.
    • Track roadmap risks and collaborate with Tech Leads to implement mitigation strategies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Serve as the single point of contact for business VSIP planning, gathering information from Tech Leads and ensuring alignment with business needs.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, preferably within a mobile platform environment.
  • Strong understanding of product development and technology execution processes.
  • Product Owner (PO) knowledge is desirable, with experience in managing product backlogs and prioritizing features.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and drive alignment between business and technical teams.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and backlog management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to risk management.
