Briefly about the job

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development of AI-powered and data-driven products that transform mining operations. You will define the vision and roadmap for building AI solutions that leverage machine data, and advanced analytics to improve safety, productivity, and sustainability for Sandvik products. You’ll deliver products that create measurable value for our customers in some of the world’s most challenging environments.

You will report to the Head of AI & Automation CFE and preferably located in Pune, India. We are open to other locations for the right candidate. Travel to other Sandvik or customer sites is expected.

This is you

We are seeking a candidate with a minimum of a Bachelors degree in engineering, or a related field, along with a strong background in AI or related fields. You should have experience in the following areas:

• Drive AI product strategy and execution across key initiatives.
• Lead the design and deployment of AI solutions for automation and optimization.
• Collaborate across IT, operations, and business units to ensure adoption.
• Monitor performance and adjust based on data and feedback.
• Stay ahead of AI trends and bring fresh ideas to the table.
  
  

With a strong foundation in AI, automation, and digital transformation, you bring both product and technology mindset. You’ve led cross-functional teams, built Data and AI solutions. A technology degree and relevant experience back your technical expertise, and you’re confident navigating large transformation initiates and managing senior stakeholders.
