Job Description

Welmade Locking Systems Pvt. Ltd., through its brand Europa Locks, has built a custom platform for its range of smart locks. This platform serves a highly cost-sensitive market, with thousands of new users being added every month. The platform also supports a wide variety of products with differing specifications that are introduced on a regular basis. We are looking for an enthusiastic team member who can maintain, enhance, and lead the continued development of this platform.

• Lead development of the team to empower them in testing, bug resolution, cloud monitoring, and planning. Foster a collaborative team environment and motivate team members to achieve project goals.
• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, defining scope, timelines, resources, and budgets specific IoT projects.
• Drive continuous improvements to the existing implementation.
• Lead the discovery phase for major upcoming enhancements and platform changes.
• Maintain existing implementation from the perspective of good user experience, cost control and high level of security.
• Demonstrate in-depth understanding of cloud concepts and interactions between cloud components.
• Bring proven experience in setting up and managing cloud environments with one or more leading cloud service providers.
• Collaborate with solution partner teams and regularly monitor and track their progress.
  
  

Candidate Profile

• Strong knowledge of cloud components for solution architecture, with a proven track record of implementing cloud-based solutions. Hands-on experience is essential.
• Desired tech stack expertise: Frontend / Mobile: React, Redux, TypeScript, Flutter API Development: RESTful API design, WebSockets (Socket.IO), Node.js Authentication: JWT implementation and management Databases: Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases
• Prior experience working on IoT systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of strategies for designing and implementing high-availability, high-volume systems.
• In-depth understanding of cybersecurity compliances, with hands-on experience in implementing hardened and secure systems.
• Ability to analyze cloud deployments and optimize implementations for cost efficiency and improved user experience.
• Previous experience participating in platform security validation activities.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure is a plus.
• Familiarity with industry standards and experience in achieving compliance certifications will be an added advantage.
