Senior SAP S/4HANA Solution Architect / Lead ABAP Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, architect, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade SAP solutions for SAP S/4HANA.
• Lead SAP ABAP development efforts across the Sales and Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM) modules.
• Develop cloud-native applications using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), including:
• CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model)
• RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model)
• OData V4 services
• Design and implement modern SAP Fiori applications and user experiences.
• Leverage SAP AI Core and related AI capabilities to develop intelligent business solutions.
• Collaborate with product management, architects, functional consultants, and engineering teams to design scalable, maintainable, and clean-core solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and best practices for SAP development standards and software architecture.
• Participate in solution architecture discussions and drive the technical direction of strategic product initiatives.
• Perform technical analysis, root-cause investigation, and resolution of complex customer support tickets.
• Work closely with support and implementation teams to ensure timely resolution of customer issues while continuously improving product quality.
• Contribute to major product enhancements, innovation initiatives, and long-term roadmap execution.
• Champion software quality through code reviews, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Extensive experience developing solutions on SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong expertise in SAP ABAP development.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Experience developing applications using CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) and RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model).
• Strong knowledge of OData V4 services.
• Experience building SAP Fiori applications.
• Hands-on experience with SAP AI Core or related SAP AI technologies.
• Functional knowledge of SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) and MM (Materials Management).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently while leading technical initiatives across cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing clean-core SAP extensions.
• Experience architecting enterprise SAP solutions and integration scenarios.
• Experience mentoring developers and providing technical leadership.
• Familiarity with modern DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native software development.
