Sr Quality Analyst

Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior QA analyst (manual +automation) who is talented and passionate about their career. This individual will be responsible for all activities involving quality assurance and will work iteratively with product and development teams through all aspects of SDLC. While reporting to the QA manager, this individual will communicate and coordinate results with impacted departments on a day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities

• Build functional test plans and test cases based on Business requirements, User Stories.
• Execute different types of testing from functional, exploratory, end to end, regression to security testing, Compatibility, Usability, Smoke and Sanity Testing.
• Will be mentoring team in solving the issues in automation & functional testing.
• Should work as individual contributor on demand as per the situation.
• Cross trains and mentors less experienced QA team members.
• Assist other team members in whatever is necessary with test design, test approach, testing, story requirement clarification and providing feedback to the development team.
• Work closely with developers and product teams to resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Selenium or Playwright and integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform end-to-end API testing using Rest Assured and Postman, ensuring functionality, performance, and security
• Rest Assured and Postman: Hands-on experience in API testing.
• Hands-on experience with UI automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Rest Assured or any other automation tool.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 6 to 9 years of experience in manual and automation testing.
• Expertise in functional, regression, exploratory, and UAT testing.
• Proficiency in API testing using Postman.
• Strong understanding of SQL queries for database testing.
• Selenium with Java: Advanced expertise in automating web applications.
• Experience with test management tools like Jira, Zephyr, or Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and sprint-based development cycles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.
