Sr Java Developer

Zensar Technologies Limited is seeking an experienced Java Spring Microservices Engineer (AES‑DE‑FS) to build high‑performance backend services. You will leverage Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and AWS to create resilient, secure micro‑architectures, integrate data pipelines, and support continuous delivery in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Implement security mechanisms with Spring Security, OAuth2, and JWT.
• Deploy and manage services on AWS (EC2, S3, ECR, Glue, Athena) and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate them using Kubernetes.
• Create CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Spinnaker, and JFrog Artifactory.
• Write unit and integration tests with JUnit and Mockito.
• Optimize performance and scalability, including multithreading and caching with Redis.
• Develop batch and data ingestion workflows leveraging Apache Iceberg and DuckDB.
• Instrument services with OpenTelemetry and monitor logs via Coralogix.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional Agile teams and participate in sprint planning and retrospectives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, multithreading, and OOP principles.
• Hands‑on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Security (OAuth2, JWT), and Spring Cloud.
• Proficiency in building and deploying microservices on AWS and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Spinnaker, JFrog).
• Solid testing skills using JUnit and Mockito.
• Familiarity with Redis, Apache Iceberg, DuckDB, and data ingestion patterns.
• Understanding of observability tools such as OpenTelemetry and Coralogix.
• Agile mindset with strong collaboration and communication abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
