What You’ll Be Doing:

Evolent is looking for a Senior Quality Engineer who will be responsible for building and maintaining healthcare software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive test plans and strategies for complex software applications.
• Lead efforts to create, maintain, and optimize test automation frameworks for improved efficiency and test coverage.
• Conduct detailed manual and automated testing to validate software functionality, performance, and security.
• Identify, document, and prioritize defects, and collaborate with developers for timely resolution.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Mentor junior quality engineers, promoting best practices in testing and quality assurance.
• Analyze test data, generate quality metrics, and provide regular reports on software quality to stakeholders.
• Participate in test case reviews, design discussions, and product planning to ensure quality is built into all phases of the software lifecycle.
• Stay updated on emerging testing tools, technologies, and best practices, and evaluate their applicability.
  
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on both manual and automated testing.
• Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Karate, Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, Appium).
• Strong coding skills in programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) and familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Experience working in agile development environments and understanding of agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and mentor junior team members.
