So, what’s the role all about?
We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist DevOps Engineer to join our Copilot for Agents team. This role demands an expert in AWS infrastructure, Python-based automation, and Jenkins pipelines, with deep experience in building and managing scalable, cost-efficient cloud environments. You will take complete ownership of our AWS CDK (Python)-based infrastructure and CI/CD systems, ensuring speed, reliability, and performance across environments.
How will you make an impact?
- Own and manage AWS infrastructure end-to-end, deployed using AWS CDK (Python) and cloud formation.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime.
- Architect scalable, secure, and cost-efficient AWS environments using services like (but not limited to) EC2, Auto Scaling Groups, ECS, Fargate, Lambda, ElastiCache, Kinesis, and CloudWatch.
- Identify and implement infrastructure cost optimization strategies and auto-scaling policies.
- Write, maintain, and evolve Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK (Python).
- Drive monitoring, alerting, and observability initiatives using CloudWatch and third-party tools.
- Collaborate with Engineering and QA teams to support high-quality releases and faster deployments.
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and environment troubleshooting.
Have you got what it takes?
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles.
- Extensive Python knowledge with experience in AWS CDK for infrastructure provisioning.
- Strong hands-on expertise in AWS cloud services, networking, IAM, and VPC architecture.
- Deep experience with Jenkins pipelines and automation (Groovy/Bash/Python scripting).
- Proven track record in managing and optimizing production-grade AWS environments.
- AWS Certified (at least one Associate level – Solutions Architect, SysOps, or DevOps).
- Expertise in cost optimization, monitoring, and auto-scaling strategies.
- Proficiency in version control systems like GitHub/GitLab.
