About The Role

You will own how QED42 shows up visually. This means taking the current brand, strengthening it, and extending it across digital, print, events, and motion. You care about clarity, strong fundamentals, and how design supports real work, not decoration.

You use modern tools, and you are comfortable using AI where it helps you explore options faster, but you keep the final judgment with yourself.

What You Will Do

• Lead the visual direction for brand, campaigns, events, and product storytelling
• Create and maintain design systems that scale across teams and channels
• Design key assets yourself and guide the visual quality of everything that goes out
• Work with marketing on campaigns, social content, decks, and case study visuals
• Work with UX and product teams on visuals that support product and platform stories
• Design for print and environmental graphics for events, from signage to experience details
• Create or supervise motion graphics and short visual stories where needed
• Use AI tools for exploration, moodboards, and variations, while keeping control of the final output
• Give clear feedback to other designers and collaborators, and help raise the bar for visual quality
  
  

• Strong foundation in typography, layout, hierarchy, and composition
• Experience creating and evolving brand systems, not just one-off assets
• Confidence in tools like Figma and Illustrator, with working knowledge of motion tools such as After Effects or similar
• A portfolio that shows you can take a brand forward, not just follow existing guidelines
• Ability to work with incomplete or abstract briefs and shape them into clear directions
• Comfort working at speed while keeping quality high
• Curiosity about how AI changes the design process and how to use it responsibly
