Your role

• Develop and maintain solutions focused on data processing and analysis using java 8 and beyond and any distributed computing engine
• Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate complex analytics into the platform
• Optimize and enhance existing platform components to improve performance, scalability, and reliability
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement new features that support portfolio reporting and data modeling.
• Contribute to system architecture discussions and promote best practices in coding, testing and deployment
  
  

Your team
Youll be working in the Wealth Management IT team in Pune. You will be part of a global team that supports applications in our Core Operations arena working closely with the development and business teams that are global as well.

Your expertise
Your expertise:

• 10+ years of experience in software development, preferably in the financial or data analytics industry
• Java 8 and beyond with a focus on data processing and analytics
• Experienced in SQL Server / Postgres SQL Server
• Understanding of cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure including services like, Azure Data Lake, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Factory
• Knowledge of Databricks and Apache Spark
• Know-how to apply standards, methods, techniques and templates as defined by our SDLC for example, code repository handling, code inspection, penetration-avoidance and code reviews to produce secure and clean code.
• Bachelor’s/master’s degree or equivalent with a focus in engineering, computer science or other sciences
• Ability to understand and produce business and functional requirements specification
  
  

Good to have:

• Knowledge of Apache Storm
• Hyperscale, Familiarity with Apache Kafka, Azure service bus
