About This Role
We are seeking a Senior Data Architect to lead the transformation of data and analytics platforms to Google Cloud. This role is pivotal in enabling the decommissioning of legacy reporting systems and supporting local market teams with modern, cloud-based data solutions. The individual will collaborate with Data Analysts, Engineers, and BI developers to design scalable architectures, drive transition strategies, and ensure seamless integration of data services across markets
What You Will Do
- Analyse, classify, and consolidate business requirements into solution designs.
- Lead reverse engineering of legacy ETL and data management systems.
- Translate business needs into scalable data architecture and transformation strategies.
- Design and review data models (LDM/PDM) and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture.
- Guide development teams through solution implementation and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Drive efficiencies through automation and standardisation of analytical delivery.
- Support the enterprise data warehouse model and business semantic layer with strategic inputs.
- Act as the single point of contact for architecture-related programmes and impact analysis.
Who You Are
- Experienced in designing data and BI solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Skilled in data integration, modelling (LDM/PDM), and DV2.0 methodology.
- Proficient in RDBMS technologies such as Oracle, Teradata, and Big Data platforms.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
- 10+ years of experience in BI and EDW project design and implementation.
- Familiarity with telecom industry standards and data governance practices.
- Holds a graduate or postgraduate degree in Engineering or Computer Applications.
- Certifications in TOGAF or related areas are advantageous.
