The Senior Associate Product Manager is responsible for supporting Product Managers as part of a product management team; however, they are not the accountable Product Manager for a product. They develop knowledge, experience, and skills by working side-by-side experienced product managers.

They lead the discovery sessions, maintaining product health and operations metrics, and aiding in insights gathering. They support a highly complex product or family of products; gaining exposure and building relationships with key product disciplines. While building the skills required to operate as an independent product manager, they contribute to an efficient and effective product practice. They demonstrate curiosity, open-mindedness, and motivation to gain exposure and experience in all phases of the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 6 to 10 years of total experience.
• 2+ years of business, technology, or product management experience; or equivalent demonstrated through the following: work experience, military experience, or education, 2 + year working in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment with product or engineering teams and stakeholders.
• Basic experience in a product environment and exposure to the Product Manager role.
• Basic experience with strategic thinking and decision making in a professional context.
• Basic experience with managing multiple workloads and/or competing priorities in a professional context.
• Basic experience with stakeholder and relationship management in a professional context.
• Demonstrated experience leading, influencing, and negotiating in a professional team environment.
