About this opportunity:

Join us to shape the backbone of next-generation connectivity. We are looking for a MPBN SME to lead the performance and reliability of our Packet Backbone Network (MPBN) at the circle level. This is a high-impact role where your expertise will ensure seamless connectivity for millions of customers and enterprise clients.

As the MPBN performance owner for the circle, you will manage end-to-end operations, from preventive maintenance to planned network changes, ensuring world-class availability and customer satisfaction. You’ll work in a multi-vendor environment (Huawei, Cisco, Juniper, IBM, Ericsson), collaborating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to deliver SLA adherence, KPI improvements, and CSI protection

You Will

• Oversee day-to-day MPBN operations, including fault management, performance monitoring, and proactive optimization.
• Plan and govern change requests, ensuring risk mitigation and rollback readiness.
• Coordinate with GNOC, TSG, GSDC, D&P, MSIP, and vendors for seamless O&M execution.
• Manage vendor performance, spares strategy, and operational costs.
• Safeguard customer experience through rapid incident resolution and transparent communication.
• Publish performance reports and improvement roadmaps, driving continuous enhancement.
  
  

The Skills You Bring

• Proven experience in MPBN operations within large-scale telecom environments.
• Hands-on expertise in IP/MPLS, routing, switching, firewall, and cloud integration.
• Strong knowledge of Huawei/Cisco/Juniper/IBM/Ericsson platforms.
• Certifications like CCNA/CCNP preferred; cloud certifications are a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a matrix organization, lead vendors, and deliver measurable outcomes.
