We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant specialist

In This Role, You Will

• Meeting with the development team to discuss user interface ideas and applications.
• Reviewing application requirements and interface designs.
• Identifying web-based user interactions.
• Developing and implementing highly-responsive user interface components using React concepts.
• Writing application interface codes using JavaScript following React.js workflows.
• Troubleshooting interface software and debugging application codes.
• Developing and implementing front-end architecture to support user interface concepts.
• Monitoring and improving front-end performance.
• Documenting application changes and developing updates.
• Provide support to DevOps teams working at all stages of a product or service release/change with a strong customer focus and end to end journeys, ensuring they have an excellent domain knowledge.
• Working with Ops, Dev and Test Engineers to ensure operational issues (performance, operator intervention, alerting, design defect related issues, etc.) are identified and addressed at all stages of a product or service release / change.
  
  

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Extensive experience of hands-on React development, with a solid understanding of the core concepts including recent additions i.e. Hooks, Context API
• Experience in building large-scale SPA web applications in a fast-moving team environment
• Expert understanding of state management technologies/approaches i.e. Redux, Flux,Hooks/Context API
• Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, CSS-In-JS and JavaScript (ES6/ES2020), adhering to industry defined coding standards
• Good understanding of QA technologies and processes (Jest, RTL) – TDD and unit testing, specifically what constitutes a good unit test
• Good understanding and experience of working within an Agile environment i.e.Story point estimation, refinement, sprint planning, retrospective, sprint demos etc.
• Experience of using version control tooling and workflows (GIT) in a large development team performing Continuous Integration
• Knowledge of coding fundamentals e.g. modern software design principles, data structures etc.
• Understanding and experience of working with data driven UIs, developing and integrating to REST APIs using data fetching libraries such as Redux-Saga, Axios etc.
• Excellent communication skills and a Self-starter attitude
• Experience in building design systems/Atomic Design methodology
• Knowledge of coding fundamentals e.g. modern software design principles, data structures etc.
• Good knowledge of building accessible UIs
• Experience with building and optimizing web applications in areas such as performance, security and resilience.
• Should demonstrate excellent analytical capabilities, problem solving skills, learning abilities, team skills and ability to work independently.
• Exposure to customer experience, usability, Business Banking channels related exposures will be preferred.
• Enthusiastic and self-motivated with excellent time management skills and strong initiative
• Able to work independently and effectively under pressure
• Good understanding and experience on Agile and DevOps
