Job Requirements

Details:

Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts such as test data, data validation, and scripts.

• Advise on test strategy best practices, determine test standards, and build out master test plan.
• Execute the plan and manage all activities in the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met and that the solution works as expected.
• Experience with Test Management tools like ALM, JIRA (Zephyr).
• Hands-on experience on ERP tool testing (3-4 years)
• Good to have: Hands on Automation experience
• Ensure top quality by identifying potential issues and documenting test results before the product goes live.
• Backend database testing SQL and validating using SQL queries.
• Accurately document software defects.
• Perform testing in terms of functionality with multiple systems.
• Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.
• Work as a key player within the Scrum team by providing feedback and executing on testing deliverables.
• Adhere to IS Department and project team policies and best practices.
• Communicates and coordinates with Project Manager and scrum team to ensure deliverables are being met.
• Ability to not only verify functional requirements, but understand the data and confirm its being calculated correctly.
• Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal team members as well as business stakeholders.
• Ability to translate business and technical requirements into functional test plans.
• Ability to work independently as a self-starter, and within a team environment.
• Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.
• Ability to deliver results leveraging SDLC methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile.
• Must have a positive can-do attitude.
• Strong problem solving characteristics with the ability to think outside the box.
• Must be able to work with others in a collaborative fashion.
