What your day will look like

• Lead and mentor a global team of QA engineers, driving best practices in automation and release quality.
• Define and implement QA roadmap for: Web UI E2E automation (using Playwright) API automation for service-based endpoints (REST) Mobile UI E2E automation on iOS/Android (using Detox)
• Load/Performance testing based on product requirements (using k6)
• Proactively track automation progress against the defined roadmap and ensure timely delivery of key milestones.
• Own and coordinate release testing cycles, ensuring quality gates are met prior to production deployment.
• Integrate and maintain automated tests in CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable feedback loops.
• Collaborate closely with developers, DevOps, and Product stakeholders to align on test coverage, QA resource allocation, and quality goals.
• Troubleshoot complex automation failures and drive resolution across platforms.
• Foster a culture of ownership and accountability, with a strong focus on delivery, visibility, and scalability.
• Track and communicate test coverage, risks, and release readiness across teams.
• Ensure efficient prioritisation and time management based on sprint goals and delivery timelines.
  
  

What you need to fulfill the role

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing across Web, API, and Mobile platforms.
• 3+ years of experience in a QA leadership or technical lead capability.
• Strong coding skills in TypeScript or JavaScript; experience with modern automation frameworks: e.g.: Playwright, Selenium, Detox, BDD (e.g., Cucumber)
• Solid knowledge of REST API testing strategies.
• Hand-on experience with CI/CD tools, especially Azure DevOps.
• Strong problem-solving skills, both in automation debugging and team coordination.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, across both technical and business domains.
