Procurement Battery Energy Storage Systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee procurement processes for BESS, ensuring compliance with industry standards and government guidelines.
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to source high-quality battery systems.
• Evaluate bids and negotiate contracts with vendors.
• Ensure integration of BESS with renewable energy systems and grid infrastructure.
• Understanding advanced technologies like lithium-ion batteries, flow batteries, and their integration with grid systems.
• Experience in procurement, especially in the energy sector.
• Knowledge of Indian government guidelines for BESS procurement and utilization
• Knowledge of energy storage lifecycle phases, including design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning
• It emphasizes recycling, sustainability, and reducing carbon footprints, which are critical for energy transition.
  
  

Qualifications:

• BE (Electrical) with 4-5 years of Strong background in Electrical Engineering or Energy Systems.
  
  

Skills:

• Preferably from Battery manufacturing background
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Analytical skills to assess bids and vendor capabilities.
• Familiarity with renewable energy technologies and storage solutions.
