Oracle PL SQL Developer - Database Design

Role : Oracle PL/SQL Developer.

Experience Preferred : 5-7 Years.

Job Description

• Design, develop, and implement database objects (tables, views, indexes, synonyms) and PL/SQL components (procedures, functions, packages, triggers).
• Write optimized SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and reporting.
• Analyze existing PL/SQL code for improvements, performance tuning, and scalability.
• Work closely with application developers to integrate PL/SQL code with front-end applications.
• Debug, test, and document database code to ensure quality and maintainability.
• Collaborate with business analysts to gather requirements and translate them into technical
  
  

• Perform database performance monitoring and tuning to ensure system efficiency.
• Manage database security, backup, and recovery strategies in coordination with the DBA team.
• Support production systems by troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues.
• Maintain version control and follow coding standards and best practices.
  
  

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL development.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle database architecture.
• Experience with performance tuning and query optimization techniques.
• Ability to work with large datasets and complex business logic.
• Familiarity with tools such as SQL Plus, TOAD, Oracle SQL Developer.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
