To lead Supply Chain operations such as Warehousing and Secondary Transportation at National level to:
Design and Implement the Supply Chain strategy with respect to Warehousing & Secondary Transportation in order to ensure continuous improvement
Maintain highest service level in cost-effective manner
Ensure Quality, Safety Sustainability and Compliances across the network
Responsible for Annual Budgeting & drive Cost optimization across the network.
Main Responsibilities:
Leading a team of Regional Logistics to ensure efficient operations at all commercial warehouses across India, inventory management, FEFO adherence and other compliances at warehouses.
Responsible for efficient secondary fleet management in order to have best in the industry Service Levels and cost-effective solutions
Accountable for space utilization and planning at warehouse and optimize vehicle utilization
Drive constructive discussions with vendors on performances and action plan for identified areas of improvement
Finalization of provisions and sharing with Finance Team for timely accounting
Responsible for on time, in full deliveries of customers to achieve best in the industry service levels
Ensure highest Safety and Quality Standards are maintained at Commercial Warehouses as per Ferrero Standards. Responsible for all closure of points identified in Quality audits and Self Assessments.
Implementation of Sustainability initiatives at Warehouses and in Secondary Transportation
Effectively ensure Governance, Risk and Compliance to policies and processes for Warehousing and Transportation in consistency with Group Standards.
Fostering the culture of Continuous improvement and Project Management within team. Leading Projects for process improvement to bring in efficiency and Cost Optimization and achieve or surpass the targets (of KPIs)
Local referent of Region India for Warehousing and implementation of Group projects. Subject Matter Expert for Warehousing professional family
Line Managers Excellence – Lead and demonstrate strong People Development capabilities. Encourage healthy working environment and ensure high performing and motivated team. Identifying key talents and their succession plans
About You:
EDUCATION
Post Graduate (preferably in Operations or Supply Chain)
SPECIFIC KNOWLEGE
Sound knowledge of SAP is preferred
Logistics and Distribution Management
Cold Chain Industry dynamics
India Network Design and Complexities
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, Power Point etc.)
Skills Required
Demonstrated ability and experience to implement business strategies benefitting the long-term objective of the business. Implementing specific processes or actions in line with business strategies
Ability to manage complex data analysis for business insights
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and changing priorities supported by timely and appropriate decisions in the interest of business
Process driven working approach, high compliance to Policies and procedures and ability to implement remediation plans
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
