We’re looking for a Tech Lead to:

• lead the core engineering initiatives in WMA Technology in the area of Cloud, DevOps and AI. Drive the core engineering projects and its adoption in WMA. Support the application team’s requirements in this space.
• collaborate with central teams, contribute to the org wide Golden Path implementation in DevOps and Cloud
• guide and lead the team to build Golden paths, reference architecture, guidelines, libraries, reusable artifacts etc.
• collaborate with Tech Services team, to adopt Managed AKS offering in WMA.
• lead/ implement DevOps practices, maintain GitLab CI templates
• work on Cloud cost optimization and observability around WMA’s Cloud estate
• work on Developer Productivity initiatives such as DevPod, GitHub Copilot, AI plugins etc.
• implement AI assisted SAD reviews and service transition
• ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of our solutions by applying our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements
• understand, represent, and advocate for client needs
• share knowledge and expertise with colleagues , contribute regularly to our engineering culture and internal communities.

You’ll be working in the Wealth Management Americas Technology CTO in Pune as a Tech Lead in the Core Engineering team. Diversity helps us grow, together. Your expertise

• ideally 9+ years of experience in a similar position focused on within the finance sector
• practical knowledge on GitLab, MS Azure, Python/ scripting languages and AI technology
• practical knowledge DevOps- CI/CD in GitLab, release automation, branching, environment strategy, monitoring, SRE etc.
• practical knowledge on Azure cloud- building, deploying, migrating solutions on Azure in a cloud native manner. Strong knowledge on architectural principles- High availability, reliability, Disaster Recovery, Security and Cost.
• strong knowledge of Azure services- AKS, Function app, storage/ DBs on Azure, monitoring etc.
• strong knowledge on Azure OpenAI, RAG, Vectorization, LangChain
• extreme familiarity with UBS Cloud, DevOps and Architecture processes
• interested in learning new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind
• strong communicator, from making presentations and interacting with colleagues in English to technical writing
• a proactive personality and a genuine interest in developing a career in the field of IT
• bachelor degree or equivalent focusing on engineering
