Job Description

We are looking for IT Ops Support Analysts who can provide reliable, hands-on user support in a technical, containerized analytics platform. The role requires a strong foundation in Unix/Linux command-line usage, Git and GitLab workflows for troubleshooting repositories and access issues, and familiarity with at least one analytics or programming language, such as R, Python, or SAS to interpret scripts, execution errors, and package-related problems. Candidates should be comfortable navigating cloud storage concepts (AWS), basic containerized environments, and enterprise support ecosystems, including ITSM tools like ServiceNow, knowledge bases, and ticketing systems, with an understanding of ITIL-aligned IT operations.

We are looking for professionals who combine technical aptitude with strong communication and problem-solving skills, capable of triaging issues efficiently—whether related to permissions, access, environment setup, or user enablement—and documenting them clearly for escalation when required. The role involves working closely with a diverse, global user community, encouraging self-service while collaborating with technical leads and knowledge champions. A continuous learning mindset is essential, with readiness to upskill through structured training in Unix/Linux, GitLab, and core programming languages, ensuring confidence and effectiveness before supporting production users.

Your tasks

  • Providing first-level and second-level user support for platform-related issues
  • Troubleshooting Unix/Linux, Git/GitLab, and access-related problems
  • Investigating, documenting, and resolving incidents through ServiceNow tickets
  • Coordinating with technical teams and knowledge champions for escalations
  • Guiding users on best practices, self-service tools, and platform usage

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar position
  • Unix/Linux command-line proficiency
  • Git & GitLab troubleshooting and repository management
  • ITSM tools experience (ServiceNow) and ITIL process knowledge
  • Basic programming knowledge (R, Python, or SAS) for script and error analysis
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced English
