Key Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain and optimize Oracle databases for reliability, availability and performance.
  
• Perform daily database health checks, backup and recovery operations.
  
• Handle database installation, patching, upgrades, compliance and security management.
  
• Provide technical support for C++ applications running on Linux environments.
  
• Troubleshoot production incidents and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  
• Monitor batch jobs and workflows using Control-M.
  
• Troubleshoot failed jobs and ensure timely completion of scheduled activities.
  
• Collaborate with application and peripheral teams to monitor and optimize new releases.
  
• Work with business stakeholders to understand support requirements and provide timely resolutions.
  
• Monitor system alerts and proactively address potential incidents.
