Good to have skills: SAP IBP (S&OP, Response & Supply), APO SNP/GATP, S/4HANA PP, Exposure to MES integration

Experience: 12+ years in SAP PP/DS, with multiple end-to-end implementations in complex automotive environments

Educational Qualification: B.Tech/BE; MBA from Tier-1 institute preferred

Job Summary:

As a Manager in Accenture’s Strategy & Consulting practice, you will lead SAP Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling (PPDS) solution design, implementation, and optimization for global automotive clients. You will combine deep SAP PP/DS expertise with consulting skills to deliver high-impact supply chain transformations, ensuring seamless integration with SAP S/4HANA, APO, IBP, and external systems. You will be responsible for guiding project teams, managing client stakeholders, and driving value realization through advanced planning and scheduling solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead design, configuration, and deployment of SAP PPDS (S/4HANA PP/DS & APO) for complex automotive manufacturing programs.
• Drive production planning workflows (MTO, MTS, Kanban, JIT/JIS, sequencing, capacity leveling) to improve efficiency and agility.
• Ensure seamless PPDS integration with SAP PP, MM, SD, QM, IBP, APO SNP/GATP, and external systems (MES, EDI).
• Manage end-to-end SAP PPDS lifecycle (blueprint, realization, testing, data migration, cutover, go-live, and hyper care).
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align planning strategies with business goals and drive digital supply chain transformation.
• Contribute to building assets, accelerators, and best practices in SAP PPDS for Accenture’s Automotive practice.
• Stay updated with SAP S/4HANA Digital Supply Chain innovations.
  
  
  

• Deep expertise in SAP PPDS (S/4HANA PP/DS & APO).
• Strong automotive manufacturing domain knowledge (line sequencing, JIT/JIS, lean manufacturing).
• Proven track record of 3+ full-cycle PPDS implementations in large, complex programs.
• Strong cross-module integration knowledge (PP, MM, SD, QM, IBP).
  
  
  

• The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background (MBA preferred), proven leadership experience in global consulting environments, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and flexibility to travel for client workshops and program delivery.
