We’re looking for a developer for the IT Crew “Obtain Pension Solutions” to:

• work closely with the Requirements Engineer, the Solution Architect as well as the Product Owner in the team and translate the requirements into tasks and stories for the development team
• be an active member of our development team (Backend & Frontend) and deliver software, enabling our business growth and strategy
• ensure highest quality delivery of our Software and implement respective quality measures and checks
• ensure the fully development cycle including proper documentation, unit testing and test automation scripting
• support the team in our Crew with your own development skills and ability

Your team

You’ll be working in the team “Obtain Pension Solutions” in Pune as one of our developers, providing user journeys for pensions products and processes. The IT capabilities cover a spectrum of features related to pension provision, such as accounting, advice, investment, and maintenance. 

Our team is responsible for the efficient and timely delivery of modern, channel agnostic services to be used by clients as self-services and internal experts alike. As a developer, you are a key player to achieve both, business and technology objectives through providing guidance and advise to your development colleagues in Zurich, India, the Philippines and Northern Macedonia.

Your expertise

• B.S. degree (or similar) in Computer Science (or similar) and more than 5 years of experience in Java Backend and JavaScript Frontend development
• 5 years+ in web development with React, JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML5, CSS and Web unit / integration testing
• expert knowledge on design pattern and distributed architecture, with a passion for delivering quality software using best practices in chosen technology
• designing and implementing REST APIs, understanding full end-to-end integration
• strong SQL skills, RDBMS know how (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and confidence creating DML / DDL scripts
• experience with Cloud native technology (Microservices, container technology) and DevOps
• accustomed with Agile Methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
• excellent skills as creative problem solver and team player with great communication skills and fluent in English
• preferably 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry
