What would you be doing?

• Lead Checkmarx’s R&D vision, growth and execution in India.
• Building and developing the teams, including coaching and mentoring engineers and team leaders.
• Onboarding new product agendas and establishing a quality and on-time delivery unit.
• Leading design, development, quality, delivery, stability, and enablement of multiple functional and technical capabilities within a large-scale product.
• Making ongoing design decisions and focusing on various product domains and technologies
• Owning and leading a significant part of the product’s functional and technical vision and roadmap.
• Initiating and facilitating R&D innovation, incubating and supporting new ideas
• Closely collaborate with product management and support organizations. Teaming up across organizational boundaries.
• Working smoothly with local and remote multi-geo R&D and non-R&D teams while keeping high visibility and effective communication. Being a part of a leading global R&D leadership team reporting to SVP Engineering.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor of Computer Science / Computer Engineering or equivalent, with leading experience
• At least 10 years of experience leading R&D groups and managing managers. Strong technical leader with proven record of leading highly technical agendas from envisioning to delivery.
• Background in microservices development, CI, and CD Background in developing and deploying Cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Experience developing in modern Agile methodologies (Scrum, CI/CD, TDD, etc.) Strong organization and time management; a can-do attitude Self-managed and flexible to changes
• Tech savvy and quick to assess and integrate new technologies were fitting in coordination with the rest of the R&D leadership.
• Strong written and verbal communication; communicating clearly and comprehensively to senior executives
• Strong team player
• Hands-on experience in Go is an advantage.
• Background in cybersecurity and application security
