Design Engineer F M X

As a Senior Physical Verification / Sign-off Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring tape-out readiness of advanced VLSI/ASIC designs. You will own and execute physical verification sign-off activities, working closely with physical design, CAD, and foundry teams to deliver high-quality silicon under aggressive schedules.

This role requires deep expertise in Calibre-based verification flows, strong debugging skills, and the ability to interpret complex foundry rules while supporting scalable and automated verification methodologies.

Your tasks

• Executing full-chip and block-level DRC, LVS, ERC, and PEX sign-off using SIEMENS Calibre
• Interpreting and enabling foundry rule decks across multiple technology nodes
• Debugging complex layout and verification issues in both hierarchical and flat designs
• Developing and maintaining automation scripts using Tcl, Python, and Perl
• Collaborating with physical design, CAD, and foundry teams to resolve sign-off blockers
• Ensuring design readiness for tape-out within tight project timelines
  
  

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in semiconductor back-end design and physical verification
• Strong hands-on experience with SIEMENS Calibre verification flows
• Deep understanding of DRC/LVS/ERC/PEX methodologies
• Proven experience in rule deck enablement and sign-off debugging
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work under aggressive schedules while maintaining high quality
