Data Science Consultant F M X

You will be part of the Unified Data Platform team, contributing to the design and evolution of scalable, cloud-native data solutions that support enterprise reporting and AI-driven use cases across the company. The role focuses on modern data lake and data warehouse architectures, leveraging AWS and Databricks to enable reliable, secure, and future-ready data platforms for both structured and unstructured data.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data scientists, architects, and developers, to ensure data platforms align with evolving business needs and industry best practices. You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, applying modern data engineering patterns and innovations to enhance platform capabilities, scalability, and long-term maintainability.

Your tasks

• Designing, refactoring, and maintaining reusable data pipelines on AWS and Databricks to support enterprise reporting and AI use cases
• Building and managing cloud-based data lakes, data warehouses, ETL workflows, and backend services for both structured and unstructured data
• Collaborating closely with business analysts, data scientists, architects, developers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions
• Implementing strong testing, monitoring, and documentation practices while participating in code reviews to ensure reliability, security, and quality
• Optimizing data pipelines and workloads for performance, cost efficiency, scalability, and resolving bottlenecks in production environments
  
  

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with cloud data engineering using AWS and Databricks
• Proficiency in designing and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale structured and unstructured datasets
• Solid knowledge of data lake, data warehouse architectures, and distributed data processing.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Expertise in performance tuning, cost optimization, testing, monitoring, and ensuring data security and reliability
