Key Responsibilities

• Lead’s multiple projects from inception to completion; facilitates sessions with internal stakeholders to determine designs project plan, develops timeline, identifies project milestones, and tracks performance against performance goals and timeline.
• Interpret Engineering Drawing, application of GD&T (Geometrical dimensioning & tolerancing) Generation of drawing for Part Manufacturing.
• Design and modify parts as per requirement by using Creo software
• 3D modelling of parts as per casting, forging & sheet metal design standards.
• Analyzing the part level Validations Requirement, exposure to DFMEA and Design Validation Plan Preparation (DVP).
• Failure Analysis with Supplier and cross functional teams involving vehicle integration team, validation team Engine team, Design team, NVH team,
• Layout finalization across packaging & analysis
• Material Selection for Parts
• Co-ordinate with internal stakeholders for execution of project on time.
• Co-ordinate with Metrology, Material & Engine testing for any tests execution as per needs.
• Assist with project planning, such as estimating time and costs, and oversee project progress to ensure timely completion.
• Documentation and maintenance: Prepare, update, and maintain all design files, drawings, and project documentation.
• Create and maintain accurate 2D and 3D models, technical drawings/requirements using CREO software for manufacturing.
• Work with other engineers and project managers to develop project plans and ensure designs integrate with other disciplines.
• Combines various parts or sub-systems into a whole to achieve the output most desired by the project team using our standard tools, processes
• Identify best practices to ensure optimization of performance, reliability, cost and quality.
• Analyze technical issues using proven problem-solving and troubleshooting techniques for rapid resolution.
• Collaborates with teams & communicates effectively.
  
  

• Experience Range - 2 to 4 Years
• Qualification - Degree in Mechanical
• Sound knowledge of GD&T (Geometrical dimensioning & tolerancing), Part modelling, Manufacturing Processes of Engine component. Design & Analysis skills: CREO and Ansys
• Expertise in CREO SOFTWARE 4.0 onwards
• Simulation based product development – Provide inputs for ANSYS FEA & interpret results
• Good Know how for material & manufacturing processes
• Good Communication skills
• Problem solving – exposure to 5W, 8D, fishbone etc.
