We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Cyber Security Analyst to join our team and help safeguard our people, data & digital infrastructure. This role will be responsible for monitoring, analysing, and responding to security incidents, identifying weaknesses & vulnerabilities, recommending measures to protect sensitive data and systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of threat landscapes, and a passion for staying ahead of emerging cyber risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing alerts within the group’s security tooling (SIEM, EDR, DLP, PAM, SWG & WAF)
• Managing ticket queue within the team’s service desk queue
• Assisting with the completion of post incident reports
• Assist with security gap and risk assessments including PCI DSS, ISO 27001, CIS Top 18 and Cyber Essentials.
• Identification and risk assessment of newly identified vulnerabilities.
• Recommend rule set and process changes or improvements
• Flexibility to work on an evening shift where required
• Timely escalation of issues to Cyber Security Engineers and/or Lead Engineer.
  
  

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Experience of Compliance frameworks (27001, GDPR, CIS Top 18).
• Previous experience of working with or withiin- software development teams to delivery internally and externally facing applications. data teams to ensure highly available and resilient data to support operations. technical project teams to deliver complex and large-scale infrastructure projects. IT service desk to deliver swift resolution and fantastic customer service
• Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities to tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail, with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proactive and self-motivated approach to problem solving.
• Flexible and approachable.
