We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Sr. Associate Director, Tech SME 

This role is in Regulatory IT under Finance IT for Markets Security Services. Regulatory space is quite dynamic and has huge opportunity to explore new solutions. The team is primarily involved in Basel III reporting for Counterparty Credit Risk. The team is working on upcoming changes as per the Regulatory Guidelines.

The team is currently engaged with a stream of mandatory regulatory capital programmes that include new Standardised Approach to CCR (SA-CCR), Stress Testing (PRA/ECB/HKMA) and Basel III reforms.  In this role, you will:

• Lead CCR analysis and delivery across regulatory programmes (CCR RWA, CVA, Leverage Ratio and related capital/reporting outcomes), translating regulatory intent into implementable requirements.
• Own end-to-end BA artefacts to bank standards: FRS, TRD/design notes, LDM, JIRA epics/features/stories, process flows, lineage and impact assessments.
• Partner with Risk, Finance, Regulatory Reporting and Technology to agree methodology, assumptions, controls and data requirements for CCR calculations and downstream use.
• Elicit, define and manage functional/domain requirements across multiple delivery pods, ensuring consistency, traceability and appropriate local flexibility.
• Drive stakeholder engagement through workshops, requirement challenge/confirmation, sign-offs, expectation management and clear communication to diverse audiences.
• Define the BA-led testing approach: test scenarios/cases covering regulatory rules, data quality, reconciliations and control requirements; support SIT/UAT planning.
• Lead end-to-end UAT: prepare UAT packs, coordinate business testers, triage defects, manage retest cycles and secure go-live readiness with clear acceptance criteria.
• Own delivery reporting and governance: milestones, dependencies, RAID and decision logs; escalate early with pragmatic options; promote re-use of patterns, data models and control frameworks across the programme.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Strong hands-on CCR domain expertise in a reputed bank: CCR RWA, CVA, Leverage Ratio, exposure measures, netting/collateral/margin, lineage and reconciliations.
• Strong understanding of the regulatory landscape and ability to interpret evolving requirements and supervisory expectations.
• Proven BA capability producing high-quality artefacts (FRS, TRD, LDM, JIRA stories/acceptance criteria, process maps, data dictionaries, controls and reconciliation documentation).
• Demonstrated ability to maintain traceability from regulation → requirement → build → test → sign-off across multiple pods/squads.
• Hands-on testing and UAT capability: writing functional/data/control test scenarios and cases, executing UAT, defect triage and managing business sign-offs.
• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills, with excellent written/verbal communication for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Delivery management experience in complex programmes: status reporting, RAID/dependency management, disciplined change control and ownership in multi-year initiatives.
• Technical and vendor/tooling fluency: data models/lineage, interfaces, batch/stream, calculation engines and reconciliation patterns; exposure to CCR vendor tools (e.g., Axiom SL, Moody’s, Regnology) and/or in-house engines (SA-CCR B3.1, comprehensive calculations, CVA).
