We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist

In this role, you will:

• HSBC Link application is used for supporting domestic payments (RTGS). HSBC Link releases will contain functionality enhancement and new features wherever required for ISO20022 migration and new country onboarding for RTGS payments. This role provides good opportunity for RTGS messaging.
• Design: Participate in the technical design.
• Coding: Analyze and develop code as per specifications.
• Reviews: Participate in review of design/code/test plan and test results
• Support: Provide post development level 1 and 2 support.
• Testing: Prepare unit test plans, Conduct unit testing
• Attend various meetings with various teams and stakeholders
• Good team player, collaborate and assist junior team members.
  
  

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Minimum 06-10 years’ experience in Enterprise Java application development, implementation & support.
• Hands on experience on Enterprise Java application development and worked as individual contributor.
• Technologies: Core java, Springboot, Advance java J2EE, Oracle database SQL, Linux, JAVA, JSP, SERVLET, EJB, either of (Web Sphere MQ/ Websphere Application Server/ weblogic/tomcat or JMS), enterprise application, Springboot, Rest API, Kubernetes, Kafka.
• Domain – ISO 20022, RTGS Payments
• Tooling experience: Jenkins, Maven, GIT etc.
• Working experience in Agile.
• Good communication skills, be able to talk to a variety of stakeholders including senior members.
  
  

The successful candidate will also meet the following requirements:

• IBM WebSphere MQ
• IBM WebSphere application server (WAS)
• Shell scripting.
• EJB
• Docker
