What will you do?
Produce accurate 2D engineering drawings using AutoCAD (or similar)
Develop and maintain 3D models and assemblies using Autodesk Inventor (or equivalent)
Produce detailed engineering outputs including:
Interconnection schematics
Internal wiring diagrams
As-built drawings
Create detailed 3D models including:
Full system layouts
Assembly builds
Equipment positioning
Tubing and pipe routing
Deliver CAD outputs that are clear, accurate, and suitable for fabrication and installation
Multi-Discipline Project Support
Support projects across:
Oil & Gas systems (HPUs / TUTU)
Fire Suppression systems
Electrical / alarm-based systems
Work closely with:
Mechanical Engineers
Electrical Engineers
Design Engineers
Ensure designs are practical, buildable, and aligned with engineering requirements
Work closely with third-party suppliers, fabrication partners, and international delivery teams
Provide clear and accurate CAD outputs to support external manufacture and installation
Respond to supplier queries and coordinate design adjustments where required
Ensure all externally issued drawings and models comply with internal CAD standards and project requirements
Apply company CAD standards and governance to all outputs
Drawings are controlled, consistent, and traceable
Revisions are clearly managed and approved prior to issue
All outputs are reviewed before release
Participate in CAD checking and review processes
Work as part of a distributed team (UK + India)
Contribute to the development of team capability, including future improvements such as CAD data management systems
Take ownership of improving overall quality and efficiency of outputs
What we look for?
Strong 2D drafting experience (AutoCAD or similar)
Experience in 3D modelling and assemblies (Inventor or equivalent)
Experience producing engineering drawings to a high standard
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet project deadlines
Exposure to Oil & Gas, Fire Suppression, or Electrical systems
Experience working across multiple engineering disciplines
Familiarity with structured CAD processes and revision control
Experience working with external suppliers or fabrication partners
Experience working in a remote or global engineering environment
HNC / HND in Engineering (minimum requirement)
Engineering Degree (preferred)
Is highly diligent and takes genuine pride in the quality of their work
Has a keen eye for detail, with the ability to identify errors, inconsistencies, and improvements
Produces accurate, well-structured, and high-quality CAD outputs
Is proactive in suggesting better ways of working rather than simply completing tasks
Is confident to ask questions and avoids making assumptions
Works effectively both independently and as part of a team
Is engaged, forward-thinking, and committed to continuous improvement
Communicates clearly across disciplines and locations
Based in Pune, India (local office available as required)
Remote / hybrid working model
Fully integrated into a UK-based CAD team
Regular collaboration with UK stakeholders and international delivery teams
Occasional office attendance depending on business needs
