Job Title: Business Development Manager (IT – SaaS, AI & Custom Software Solutions)

Location: Hinjewadi Phase1 ,Pune (Onsite)

Experience: 5+ years

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager (IT) to lead client acquisition and relationship management for our SaaS products, AI solutions, and custom software development services. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of modern software technologies and a proven ability to generate and close B2B deals in the IT services space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in AI, SaaS, and custom software development domains.
  • Generate qualified leads through outbound efforts (cold emails, calls, networking, events) and inbound channels.
  • Understand client needs and consultatively pitch tailored IT solutions.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, tech, and product teams to prepare proposals, demos, and solution documents.
  • Maintain and grow a strong sales pipeline using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce).
  • Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers (CXOs, CTOs, Product Heads, etc.).
  • Keep up to date with industry trends in AI, SaaS, cloud, and software development.
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and report regularly to leadership.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–7+ years of experience in B2B IT sales or business development.
  • Experience selling SaaS products, AI-based solutions, or custom software development services.
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), AI/ML fundamentals, and cloud technologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deals at various stages.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and sales outreach platforms.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field (MBA is a plus).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with startups or IT consulting firms.
  • Understanding of data analytics, MLOps, or automation tools.
  • Exposure to global markets (US, UK, Middle East, etc.).
