The Product Operations (COE) team leads and manages a diverse portfolio of solutions across BMC Helix. These include License Usage Collection Utility, Centralized leadership for Translation & Localization Delivery and manage Product Operations. This role will be responsible for supporting the planning, design and implementing solutions. You will work collaboratively within the team, stakeholder divisions and DSOM business unit, as applicable to develop and maintain the application based on customer and business partner requirements.

Primary responsibility will include individual to work on design and development of application, Product Life Cycle Portal based on the Remedy. Individual should also work with Quality assurance team making sure quality product is delivered. Understands requirements and interacts with internal teams. Participate in Sprint planning meetings and Adaptable and flexible when new tasks are assigned.

Primary Roles And Responsibility

• Hands on experience in java & Remedy product development.
• Participate in all aspects of product development, from requirements analysis to product release.
• Lead features and participate in design reviews.
• Design enterprise platform using agile methodology.
• Ability to participate on empowered virtual teams to deliver iteration deliverables, manages projects within scope of responsibility and drives the technical direction of the product.
• Good troubleshooting and debugging skills.
  
  

Required Skills

• Min 4+ yrs relevant work experience.
• Core Java Knowledge
• Strong experience with BMC Remedy AR System and ITSM Suite (v9.x and above preferred).
• Knowledge of Remedy Developer Studio, Mid-Tier, and Smart IT.
• Experience with Remedy Workflow development, forms, filters, escalations, and active links.
• Proficiency in Remedy API, REST/SOAP, and integration frameworks.
• Writing REST clients as per various formats and JSON, CSV conversions etc.
• Unix Shell Scripts familiarity.
• Writing/modifying build scripts.
• Good knowledge of SQL and database concepts (Oracle/SQL Server).
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  
  

Desired (nice-to-have) Skills

• Experience with BMC Helix or cloud-based Remedy platforms.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, Shell scripting, or Java for integrations.

At BMC we believe in pay transparency and have set the midpoint of the salary band for this role at 2,117,800 INR. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

The salary listed is just one component of BMCs employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
