Key Responsibilities

• BIM Project Leadership
• Lead end-to-end BIM execution for structural engineering projects.
• Develop, implement, and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and project-specific modelling standards.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP teams, consultants, and contractors for clash resolution and design coordination.
• Revit Modelling & Documentation
• Oversee creation and review of structural Revit models, drawings, and documentation.
• Ensure accuracy of BIM models including structural framing, foundations, reinforcement details, and assemblies.
• Manage model updates and revisions as per project requirements.
• Quality Control & Standards
• Ensure compliance with organizational, client, and industry BIM standards (ISO 19650, etc.).
• Conduct model audits, clash detection, and quality checks using Revit, Navisworks, and related tools.
• Develop and maintain families, templates, and libraries for structural elements.
• Team Coordination & Training
• Guide and mentor BIM modelers and engineers in structural modeling best practices.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and support the team in resolving technical challenges.
• Conduct internal training sessions to enhance BIM capabilities.
• Project Management & Reporting
• Estimate BIM production timelines and resource requirements.
• Prepare project status reports, model deliverables, and coordination logs.
• Liaise with project managers and clients to ensure timely delivery of BIM outputs.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Structural BIM workflows.
• Expertise in Autodesk Revit (Structures) for modeling and documentation.
• Strong experience with Navisworks Manage for clash detection and coordination.
• Understanding of structural engineering concepts (steel, RCC, composite structures, etc.).
• Familiarity with BIM standards (ISO 19650, AIA, PAS 1192, etc.).
• Good communication, team management, and problem-solving skills.
