Competences Requirements

• Knowledge / Qualifications
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Optics or Electronics preferred), or MSc in Physics.
• Previous Experience (If relevant)
• 2-5 years of experience in patent domain
  
  

Proven expertise in one or more of the following areas:

• Patent portfolio management, application drafting, prosecution, and litigation.
• Patent infringement analysis, including claim mapping.
• Conducting patent searches using both paid and open-access databases.
• Familiarity with international patent laws (EP, US, PCT) is a strong advantage.
• Key technical competencies
• Strong understanding of products and technologies in mechanical, optics, and electronics domains.
• Proficient in using advanced patent search tools and databases.

• Conduct comprehensive patent searches to support innovation and IP strategy.
• KPI and/or main deliverables
• Deliver high-quality patentability assessments to evaluate the novelty and inventiveness of ideas.
• Ensure robust IP protection by consistently meeting patent filing targets.
• Perform Freedom to Operate (FTO) and landscape searches to assess market and legal risks.
