Job Summary

Candidate is responsible for developing and executing regional sourcing strategies to ensure cost-effective procurement Automobile aftermarket parts. This role involves supplier identification, negotiation, contract management, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement of the supply base to support business objectives.

Primary Duties

  • Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for assigned categories for Plastic & Sheetmetal .
  • Identify, evaluate, and qualify new regional suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and delivery targets are met.
  • Lead supplier negotiations to secure optimal terms and long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, Legal, and Finance.
  • Monitor global market trends, geopolitical risks, and supply chain disruptions.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives and value engineering projects.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical sourcing standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage supplier performance through KPIs, audits, and regular reviews.
  • Support new product development with timely sourcing and supplier onboarding.


Qualifications

  • Mechnical Engineering with 7 to 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing, preferably in a global environment.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.


Education / Experience

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering with 7 to 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing,( Sheetmetal , Plastic parts sourcing) preferably in a global environment
