Position: Area Technical Manager (ATM) - West & North + I/c Adisseo Services - ISC

Areas: West & Central ( Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh)

Location: Pune

Responsibilities

Mission & Scope:

Oversee technical support for Adisseo’s product and service portfolio in the assigned area, including coordination of services and analytical support across the Indian Subcontinent. Act as a technical expert and liaison between customers, internal teams, and R&D.

Core Responsibilities:

• Train Adisseo sales, marketing teams, and partners (distributors/agents) on product technicalities and value propositions.
• Support sales efforts by providing technical expertise to customers and prospects, contributing to market development and retention.
• Coordinate and manage Adisseo services, including PNE service and analytical support.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), consultants, and technical networks.
• Represent Adisseo at conferences, workshops, and professional events as a speaker; write technical/scientific articles for industry publications.
• Adapt technical presentations and services to customer segments and regional needs.
• Collaborate with Marketing and R&D to align technical offerings with customer expectations and innovation strategies.
• Design, implement, and monitor technical trials to demonstrate product superiority and gather insights for R&D.

Accountabilities:

• Deliver technical training for internal teams and partners.
• Define and execute technical action plans to support sales objectives.
• Ensure effective reporting and communication of trial results internally and externally.
• Spearhead coordination of services and analytical support to enhance customer value.

Internal/External Interfaces:

• Internal: R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Labs, Business Units, Global Category Managers, Marketing, Regional Managers, Technologists.
• External: Key customers, KOLs, consultants, distributors, and agents.

Qualifications

Profile Requirements

• Post graduation in poultry Nutrition or poultry science, Veterinarian
• Experience:
• Confirmed experience in formulation as Formulator / Nutritionist / Technical Manager within an industrial firm specialized in animal feed: feed manufacturer, pre-mixer, feed additives
• Experience in NIR usage and analytical support coordination
• Animal Physiology and animal health strong knowledge
• Strong poultry nutrition and husbandry knowledge
• Strong ability to adapt to changing situations (multicultural and multi knowledge levels interlocutors)
• Ability to define, implement and follow a nutrition trial protocol on animals
• Good communication skills
• Team spirit
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• The position location will be in the assigned area
• At least 70% of the time travelling
