As a core member of our Compliance team you will work closely
with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to minimize operational
risks and ensure our clients experience seamless delivery acrossbanking services.
Responsibilities
Your Role:
Instruct on daily reporting of key ratios (Capital Adequacy Ratio, Leverage Ratio, Liquidity Ratios, Large Exposure) for Europe and Americas;
Support team producing reports, answer any ad-hock queries, provide required training sessions;
Support with new reports implementation;
Perform reconcipation analysis between different type of reports, identify any differences and instruct on alignments of the reports;
Execute existing reports for Capital Management;
Support change management process for existing files, participate in automation projects;
Maintain macros in MS Excel;
Enhance the automation level of Capital Management core processes (incl. ratios monitoring, as well as regulatory monitoring);
Work with the various Subject Matter Experts across the banks to ensure enterprise wide compliance;
Involve in specific business projects.
Interpret prudential and statistical regulatory reporting requirements related to the Basel framework based on the specifics of the Bank portfolio (e.g. DGS, AnaCredit, RS2, etc.), as set up by DNB, CBI, BCL and CSSF;
Develop and provide work instructions, training and support for the Regulatory Reporting team;
Maintain regulatory reporting calendar;
Support in set up of new regulatory reports, incl. set up of roles and responsibilities across Citco Banking Group, process flows and process descriptions, when applicable;
Maintain daily monitoring metrics, align within the group and manage on an ongoing basis compliance to the internal and regulatory limits;
Support and consult with the Regulatory Reporting team, Finance and Risk Management;
Implement (as part of the team) Basel III requirements, as translated in the European regulation (CRR II and CRD V), for all main risk types (credit, market, operational, liquidity risks, interest rate risk in the banking book, leverage ratio and large exposure);
Monitor and update this framework with new consultations, guidelines, standards and regulations on an ongoing basis by performing a detailed review and impact analysis of each requirement;
Provide structural solutions to monitor and manage Liquidity and Capital within the organization, including automation of Capital Management reports and processes;
Support the team in different locations;
Communicate effectively and efficiently with relevant internal and external parties; and
Involve in specific business projects.
Qualifications
About You:
Must have an academic background and working level;
Bachelor’s degree in law, economics or business administration or country equivalent in a related discipline;
Minimum 1 year of experience in financial service industry, consultancy or audit;
Hands on experience with regulatory reporting for banks (either in the role of preparer or in the role of controller);
Multitasking and stress resistance;
Capable to deal with complex matters;
Strong communicative and interpersonal skills;
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (In English);
Ability to work independently and also to liaise with other departments;
Strong focus on detail;
Good knowledge of Microsoft office applications; and
Basic knowledge of VBA.
Display strong quantitative, research and analytical skills.
Knowledge of Regulatory frameworks and regulation (in the EU).
