Windows Kernel Tech Lead

Job Description

Opcito Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Windows Kernel Tech Lead with strong expertise in low-level system programming and kernel development. The candidate will lead the design, development, and optimization of kernel-level components, ensuring high performance, stability, and security.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Windows Kernel development
• Strong expertise in C/C++ and system programming
• Hands-on experience with Windows Driver Development (WDM/WDF)
• Strong debugging skills using tools like WinDbg, KD, and kernel debugging techniques
• Deep understanding of OS internals (memory management, process/thread handling, I/O systems)
• Experience with multithreading, synchronization, and performance.
  
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of Windows kernel-mode drivers and system-level components
• Work on low-level system programming, debugging, and performance optimization
• Analyze and resolve complex kernel issues such as memory leaks, crashes, and race conditions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, firmware, and application teams
• Ensure code quality through reviews, best practices, and adherence to secure coding standards
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
