Key Responsibilities
JOB DESCRIPTION
- STSO (Stock Transfer Order) Management
- Execute and monitor inter-plant stock transfers (STSO) in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with dispatching and receiving plants to ensure smooth material movement.
- Track and close all pending STSO transactions within defined timelines.
- Verify material details, quantities, and supporting documents prior to dispatch.
- GAR (Goods Acceptance Receipt) Management
- Ensure same-day GAR posting for all incoming STSO materials.
- Coordinate with warehouse and system teams to avoid delays in receipt posting.
- Monitor and control pending GAR transactions.
- Ensure alignment between physical receipt and system entries.
- Reconciliation Activities
- Perform monthly reconciliation of STSO vs GAR transactions.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies such as:
- Pending GAR
- Quantity mismatches (short/excess)
- System vs physical stock differences
- Prepare reconciliation reports and highlight issues to management.
- Inventory Control & Stock Accuracy
- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/SAP systems.
- Ensure stock match between physical and system inventory.
- Conduct cycle counts and support periodic stock audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain proper documentation for:
- STSO transactions
- GAR postings
- Inward / Outward records
- Ensure all records are audit-ready and compliant with company policies.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines.
- Warehouse Operations Support
- Support material handling, storage, and bin management activities.
- Ensure adherence to FIFO & 5S practices.
- Monitor handling of critical materials to prevent damage or loss.
- Coordination & Issue Resolution
- Coordinate with internal teams (Production, QA, Purchase, Dispatch & logistics) and other plant warehouses.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for operational issues.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Same-day GAR completion rate (100%)
- STSO closure turnaround time (24 hrs)
- Monthly reconciliation accuracy (100%)
- Inventory accuracy (100%)
- Audit compliance score (100%)
Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field
Experience
- Experience in warehouse or inventory management
- Experience in manufacturing industry preferred
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of STSO processes and inter-plant logistics
- Working knowledge of ERP/ORACLE systems
- Good analytical and reconciliation skills
- Strong coordination and follow-up ability
- Attention to detail and documentation accuracy
