Role Overview
Location & Type: This is a full-time, permanent position based in Pune.
Experience Required: The role requires over 12 years of total experience, with at least 10 years specifically in software test automation and quality engineering.
Core Focus: The position involves architecting and maintaining scalable SaaS test automation frameworks and CI-CD pipelines, ideally within the contact center or communications technology sector.
Key Responsibilities
Framework Architecture: Designing high-performance hybrid automation frameworks and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) across UI, microservices, and performance layers.
Technical Execution: Implementing end-to-end testing using Playwright and BDD Gherkin, while utilizing AI-driven concepts like auto-healing.
Quality Assurance: Conducting code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring security and maintainability through unit testing and CI/CD best practices.
Performance Engineering: Applying performance testing concepts using tools such as JMeter or K6.
Collaboration: Working in an Agile/Scrum environment alongside Product Managers, UI/UX designers, and DevOps teams.
Technical Qualifications
Programming: Proficiency in Java, Python, TypeScript, or C.
Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with microservices architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Databases: Experience with SQL and NoSQL systems such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
Integration: Knowledge of third-party APIs and real-time communication tools like WebRTC.
Preferred Background
Education: A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
